Awwwww... just a little poof out in the middle of nothing. Where is White Sands Ntl Park? I've been to Great Dunes Ntl Park (sorta the same...desert...nothing alive...REALLY HOT...) Nice photo though! We went to the Dunes in July...nothing was alive. Not even the cactii. Too hot. LOL! :silentkitty:

Cool shot! We were there a little moar than a week ago. There was too much rain and the dunes had alot of rain drop spots on them. I love finding lizard tracks or tracks from other animals. My kids like to follow the tracks in hopes of finding an animal. :lol:

thanks... yeah it was really wet. I think I made it work for me though. Had no idea I was going to go there last weekend until my parents asked where i would want to go. I love it there. so peaceful and beautiful.

You know, we were there last Sunday morning. It has only been a week since we have been home. We slept in though, so we missed the morning light. And we bought 2 of the sled discs for the kids to play, but it was so wet the discs weren't sliding down right. Now I think we are the only people in TX with sleds. :giggle: But they can use them on the dunes in South Padre Island. :lol:
