beautiful view, and i love that you chose to frame it using the environment. i'd say your attempt at creativity was definitely a success.

my first time trying to be creative with a camera was prolly in 6th grade at sly park (class camping trip for a week). came back and my mom got all mad that i didn't fill the disposable cameras with pictures of people, but rather landscapes and shots of leaves and such. i no longer have any of those craptastic pictures... but i do remember my mom going on about how "kate has no idea how to take a picture" and i'm like "ma, i have no friends, no one would pose with me or for me, this stuff was really preeeettyyyyy!!"

i gave up for a long while. pretty much til senior year, though i took a class my freshman year... maybe i'll post the photo that got me back on the horse. my mom did a 180 on her opinion of my photographic style, so that's something.

novels are always fun. those and life stories.
