sometime soon.
you are unreachable
about as possible as me touching the moon.
i am unraveling unbearably empty
and if this ground gives way
i just hope that you catch me.
you came and saved me tonight
defending all my life
now i'm content with my breath
cuz i'm alive.
this is the epitome of everything
you see in the movies.
this world is a timebomb ticking and
i think that I could stop it if you help me.
i am unraveling unbearably empty
and if this ground gives way
i just hope that you catch me.
you came and saved me tonight
defending all my life
now i'm content with my breathe
cuz i'm alive.
my faith will never rust.
no longer prone to bust.
oh, finally i believe.

so i was all set to make this huge announcement, but there's a little hitch and i suppose it will have to wait for now. i think if you read through the comments it should be pretty obvious, but i am keeping it under my hat for now.
went and saw Iron Man the other day. it was really good which kind of shocked me. robert downey jr gave an amazing performance. something he hasn't done since... well, ever. maybe the illustrious and geraldo rivera-ish Wayne Gale in NBK, but other than that i can't recall a memorable performance from him. and even then it wasn't a brilliant performance, just a memorable one.
paid for music again. yeah i know, i need to nip that habit in the bud. this time i bought Honestly I'm Doing OK by The Spill Canvas. it is nothing special unless you're like me and dig the hell out of everything they put out. mostly it was just re-renderings of songs off their recent album. the highlight is a cover of the Stevie Nicks penned Gold Dust Woman from the legendary Fleetwood Mac album Rumours. it isn't a great cover, but it's a great song and they almost do it justice. the acoustic versions of All Over You and Saved (lyrics above) are really good and definitely worth the $4.75 price of admission on Amazon.
other than that, i have to send my laptop in to HP for repairs. the bottom two rows of keys stopped working about ten days ago and i had been dealing with it, but using the on-screen keyboard really gets old after a while. so starting monday, you probably won't see or hear from me for a while until i get my computer back. what a drag...
that's all for now. have a good weekend. i'll be working as usual.
oh yes, almost forgot. i am approaching fifty thousand pageviews (crazy isn't it?). whoever captures a screenshot of it and emails it to me will receive a small gift.

ajm
today's visual thought...

Devious Comments

A true artist has had his heart ripped to more pieces than there are people on Earth. He knows loss, is unafraid and looks the Devil in the face each night as he brushes his teeth.
