must have a code
that you can live by.
and so, become yourself
because the past
is just a goodbye.
teach, your children well
their father's hell
did slowly go by
and feed them on your dreams
the one they pick's
the one you'll know by.
don't you ever ask them why
if they told you, you would die
so just look at them and sigh
and know they love you.
and you (can you hear and)
of tender years (do you care and)
can't know the fears (can you see we)
that your elders grew by (must be free to)
and so please help (teach your children)
them with your youth (you believe and)
they seek the truth (make a world that)
before they can die (we can live in)
teach your parents well
their childrens hell
will slowly go by
and feed them on your dreams
the one they pick's
the one youll know by.
dont you ever ask them why
if they told you, you would cry
so just look at them and sigh
and know they love you.

so there have been quite a few requests to know exactly what's happening with me right now. i've been more than a little cryptic about the situation and that has probably thrown some people off a bit. i'm sorry for that. it's hard for me to admit that i'm doing as poorly as i am. and it's even harder to admit it to anyone else.
i'd like to start by thanking =
damien-c for his passionate appeal on my behalf. i don't know what to say. thank you is the best i can do right now. Damien, you're a class act and i'm forever in your debt. and i'd like to extend a very special thanks to to those who have already helped; =

verrigoso here's the scoop, i'm on the road again. the road seems to have become my home in lieu of any other place to hang my hat. the details of how i got here aren't important. suffice it to say that circumstances kind of fell into disarray over the last week or so and i'm on my own again. that's ok. it's for the best. for now.
i'm going to try to make my way here. as has been stated elsewhere i am happy to accept any help that is offered. i will be forever grateful to anyone who is able to assist in any way. for details on that you can visit =
damien-c's journal. i've been interviewing for jobs the last couple days. it's not easy and the job that i've been offered so far doesn't start until May 12th, but i think i can hold out here until then. at least that's what i'm hoping.
every cloud has a silver lining though. mine's actually very silver. i've been invited to have a featured exhibition at a small gallery in missouri. i meet with the gallery director tomorrow to go over the details. i'm pretty excited. it will be my first featured show. it's set to open mid-june. of course that presents a thousand other issues, but i'm confident that i will find a way to address them.
that's about all i have the energy to write for now. and my coffee is gone so i need to head back out to the road. i've taken a few shots and will work on getting them posted the next time i can get online. i hope you are all well. thanks for reading.
be excellent to each other.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just don't have film
As for listening to Tom though, I have to give you a small piece of advice....... just not ol' 55!!! Man I love that song, and love Tom when I am down, but just keep it a bit more up - beat. (not too sure how many people knew the song you were listening to, but I am sure they would agree! try Blue Valentine)
We can't wait to see your new shots Allen, and all of us are wishing the best for you!
Peace and Love
